Order process

During a non-binding personal consultation we will first discuss what your outfit should look like and I will provide you with a fixed price quote based on your details.

If this meets your expectations, measurements are taken (assisted by video call) and a completion date is agreed.

Repairs

For Woidhex products, repairs to skins and boots that occur in the first year after purchase as part of normal use are included as a service.

Size changes or repairs to third-party suits can also be carried out at short notice, depending on capacity.

Latex products can be repaired and holes and tears can be mended, provided that the material is generally in good condition.

Frequently Asked Questions

u

Do you also sew according to standard sizes?

This is possible for traditional two-piece suits, ponchos and children’s gowns. For size comparison, you will receive a size chart as reference. All other orders are made to measure.

u

My outfit is damaged. Can it be repaired?

In general everything can be fixed.
Invoicing is based on the cost of materials and time by prior arrangement.
>> For particularly fierce beasts: I repair outfits from my workshop free of charge for you in the first year after purchase.

u

Do you also sell stock items?

I primarily manufacture to measure and to order. From time to time, however, I also have pieces in stock, which are then offered on this site and the usual sales platforms. The outfits I sell directly are still unworn and new. I do not take back used items.

u

Do you also sew outfits for children?

I am also happy to take on commissions for children’s outfits.

I charge according to time and materials used.

Upon request, you can also order “grow-with-me” outfits for your child (adjustable waistband, pant and sleeve lengths, sizeable poncho).

u

My outfit got wet. What do I do now?

Make sure you let it air dry and don’t pack it away until it is really dry again. Do not use any heat sources and hang it as airily as possible. Wait 1-2 days and then knead the material well. This way you can be sure that the leather stays soft.

u

How do I clean my latex equipment?

Please remove dirt with warm water and silicone spray if necessary. Do not use soap or washing-up liquid!

Latex should be cared for regularly to keep it elastic in the long term. Talcum powder or silicone spray is suitable for this. Please take care not to use any product containing oil or solvents, as this will damage the material!

u

What should be considered when storing latex?

Latex must be stored in a dark place and protected from frost, moisture, intense heat and direct sunlight, as these influences make the material brittle and thus easier to tear. Various substances and environmental conditions can promote latex damage. For example, contact with metal or leather! Gasoline vapors also damage the material in the long run.

The ideal storage temperature is between 15° and 25° C. Latex should not be stored in plastic. It is best to use a jute or canvas bag.
